Time change from summer time

Unfortunately, we cannot change everything as easily as time! ☹

We'd much rather switch from wartime to peacetime than changing the clocks this weekend!

But unfortunately this is not possible.

This weekend the time has come, we switch from wintertime to summertime.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, the clocks are put forward from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Perhaps this will bring us one hour faster towards the end of the war in Ukraine and thus towards peace in Europe!

After the time switch it is in the morning a bit darker and in the evening it stays light longer.

Daylight Saving Time was introduced in France in 1976 to save energy after the 1973 oil crisis. Summertime was only introduced in Germany in 1980. However, it turned out that the time change did not result in any energy savings. Apparently, other measures are needed to deal with an energy crisis. Do not forget the time change to stay punctual!

And may there be peace quickly in Europe!
