Recently we passed the exit to "Lederhose". And Lederhose is not in Bavaria, as you might think. 😉 Is there actually a shop for lederhosen in Lederhose?! And of course there are many more of them...
The Welsh have the longest and most complicated place name in Europe: “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"
Even the locals don't want to pronounce it themselves, they just call their place "Llanfair".
We find it understandable! 😊
But we here in "good old Germany" can come up with a few very exotic city names, as we said before, we think.
