The war in Ukraine has now been going on for half a year almost to the day. Despite the daily news reporting on the horrors of war, there is still some positive news reporting on friendship, helpfulness and interpersonal solidarity across national borders, which gives courage for a peaceful future in Europe. Since the outbreak of the war, many people and private companies have (continued) to support the people suffering from the consequences of the war in Ukraine and in many other countries in Europe with donations, monetary donations and voluntary work. Hertling collected a total of 3 pallets of medical supplies, such as rescue blankets, medical protective clothing and bandages, from 2 Berlin healthcare companies. In order to ensure that these supplies arrive directly on site in the Ukraine, we have relied on the support of the Ukraine aid bridge of the auxiliary fire brigade of the Brandenburg State. Through the cooperation with the voluntary and state fire brigades in Poland and the Ukrainian civil protection, large quantities of medical and other help supplies have already been brought from Berlin via a collection depot in Poland to places in the Ukraine where these donations are urgently needed. This also applies to the medical supplies we have collected! Every donation is welcome and helps people in need and suffering!

We all continue to hope for a quick end of the war and for peace in Europe!
